David Glass, the director of England's famed David Glass Ensemble, has been working with Cambodian artists for many years.  David's collaboration with Amrita began two years ago with acting workshops with 25 actors from the Royal University of Fine Arts and the National Theater leading to public showings of a work in progress.  David's style of physical theater has been a revelation to our classically trained actors with very exciting results.  This relationship has evolved into what will be a fully produced show with bi-monthly workshops from now through June and rehearsals beginning in mid July 2006 with a premier slated for August 18.  Our intention is that the group will eventually bond as a full time company presenting sustainable performances throughout the year.  Performance location to be announced.
