25 Cambodian performers and craftsmen will participate in this year's Smithsonian Folk Life Festival entitled "Mekong River: Connecting Cultures".  The event is produced by the Smithsonian Institution.  Cambodia's participation is organized in collaboration with Amrita Performing Arts.  The ten day festival will be held at the National Mall in Washington DC from Wednesdsay June 27 through Sunday July 1 and from Wednesday July 4 through Sunday July 8 from 11am - 5:30pm with concerts and special event extending into most evenings.
