A new opera composed by Cambodian musician Him Sophy with libretto by American playwright Catherine Filloux; on assignment through a commission from Cambodian Living Arts, a project of World Education.  Development phase made possible in part and being produced by John Burt Productions.  Workshops in late February 2006 in New York with first public showing of semi staged version slated for November 2006 in Phnom Penh, produced in collaboration with Amrita Performing Arts.
